About Us

Aglynt is a family owned business in Miami, Florida created by Jana & Vincent (wife and husband), Alex (Vincent’s brother), and a “creative consultant,” our grade-schooler who loves to involve himself in every step of the candle-making process!

Though we are life-long candle lovers, we felt we had to stop using them once our son was born due to concerns over chemical emissions, soot, and indoor air quality. But, shortly afterwards we realized how often we’d integrated them into so many memorable moments of our lives. We missed using candles and started looking for options we could feel safe burning in our home around our son and our pets. It was difficult to find high quality candles with any degree of transparency regarding the ingredients used to make them. Determined to change that, we spent a few years doing research into the process of candle making using carcinogen and mutagen-free oils with eco-friendly materials and Aglynt was born.

Because Aglynt is named after the “glints” of recollection sparked by scent, we wanted to create products that explore the powerful relationship between memory and fragrance. We like to think of our candles as being inspired by memories of the past but made for living in the moment.

It’s our goal to enhance your space with something different through scents not found anywhere else. After all, everyone deserves to surround themselves with fragrances as unique as they are!
